Gaea and SpeedTree Study: Mountain Slope

I created this piece as a small SpeedTree and Gaea study. I wanted to make a beautiful landscape cinematic of a large mountain slope, using the two software, as well as Unreal Engine 5. I made heavy use of masks created in Gaea, to procedurally place trees using Unreals new PCG feature. I also used Gaea to make the terrain heightmap itself, and the background mountain. I created the trees from scratch inside SpeedTree, focusing on creating a realistic silhouette, while keeping poly counts very low. I created 3 variations of the pine tree, with each variation being around 10k polygons. Renders are from inside UE5, with no raytracing.
