The goal of this environment was to experiment with the new terrain creation workflow for UE5. Using lots of individual meshes, displaced in Blender according to the materials on the meshes, to build up the terrain of the Environment. As far as I'm concerned the workflow worked out beautifully. I also used Quadspinner Gaea to make the base terrain of the mountain slope, as well as bake masks for texturing said slope. This piece took me about a week to make. I used reference photos from stone huts found on the slopes of the Caucus mountain range.
