We Who Cut Mere Stones

I really wanted to make a B&W render, and with very structured, square architecture, almost gothic/dark vibes as well, and so I created this! I sculpted all the cubistic stones, and baked them down slightly purely for ease of use, and used detail texturing along with baked normals in UE5. I used megascans and mixer, for the materials, as well as the cliff assets. I'm by no means a character artist, so I downloaded a model from turbosquid, and created some simple clothing, and a hammer and chizel for the character. The whole scene is a take on the old quote, "We who cut mere stones, must always be envisioning cathedrals".
